Catching Up with Jetpack Compose Training

Four years have passed since the alpha release of Jetpack Compose was announced on August 26, 2020. While many products are adopting Jetpack Compose, there might still be a long way to go for those who want to fully transition from the existing Android View. Also, due to the reactive programming model, some knowledge is required to get used to it, and because it is different from conventional UI development, some of us might still find it difficult to catch up. In this session, while imagining situations that are likely to occur in actual work, I aim to support the intended audience in achieving the following goals. ◆Target Goals The goal is for the intended audience to reach the following state: - Have a solid foundation in UI development using Jetpack Compose - Have easier access to information sources necessary for development using Jetpack Compose - Be able to tune performance for UIs using Jetpack Compose - Be able to develop complex UIs like those developed with Android Views (Translated by the DroidKaigi Committee)
